This is another one of those pictures that I just had to draw when I saw it. Pencil on paper (or at least my pencil on my paper) doesn't quite capture the stark contrast between the black dress and the brightest blond hair I've ever seen. I still don't think that I captured this look correctly--I really had a hard time figuring out the emotion that was in the photograph because it was so complex. I think my inability to comprehend what was going on in her head at this moment prevented me from getting it just right. I realize now, though, that I'll never understand.
