The longest-standing design and implementation that was put to rest as I had better ideas which appear in successive versions. Inspired by the same masthead background and functionality of a portfolio application, the idea was to create a design that would seamlessly integrate an image showcase with the rest of the page. Unfortunately, I totally forgot about the importance of readable text, and so v2 is now just a page in the history books, replaced by what you see now.
